Zachary Darrel Pruett, age 31, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 2, 2024, after battling a long illness. 

Zach grew up in Savannah, Georgia, a town he loved and never left. He attended Islands High School where he graduated in 2012.

Zach was a dynamic and energetic young man who enriched the lives of those around him. He was most loved for his outgoing nature, tireless work ethic, and passion for life. He brought joy to every room, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and dedication that will be remembered by everyone lucky enough to know him.  

Those closest to him were more than friends, they were an integral part of his journey. Together, they forged unforgettable memories that will serve as a reminder to embrace life and cherish the moments that make life memorable.

Zach was preceded in death by his mother, Tonya Pruett. He is survived by his father, Tony Pruett, step-mother, Ginger Donahue, brother, Matthew Pruett, half-sisters, Magen Jones (Chris) and Candice Wilson, Lindsey Wilson (daughter), step-brothers, Blaine Donahue and Cole Donahue, nephews, William Jones and John Ellis Jones and Godmother, Nathalee Drayton (Cookie).  

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Fox & Weeks Island Chapel, 4605 HWY 80 East, Savannah, GA  31410. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Savannah Boat House, 8020 US-80 East, Savannah, GA  31410.

Let’s come together to honor the memory of our beloved son, brother, and friend. Let’s all share stories, laughter and tears, to ensure that his legacy lives on in our hearts forever. Our family would like to thank you for your love, support and for keeping Zach’s spirit alive in our hearts.
